Kennedy State School

Kennedy State School was established in 1927 and is nestled in the surrounding Carribean pine forests. Our school colours are green and gold and our school motto is: "Kennedy Strives". We have around 40 students (Prep to year 7), 2 teachers (including our Principal) and 5 teacher aides. We have a resource centre, up-to-date computers and excellent sporting facilities including a new tennis/basketball court, 2 new cricket nets, a large oval and a spacious undercover play area. We have recently had a large sandpit put into the grounds too. A bus runs out into the valley and picks up most of our students each day and takes them home again later.
